Things are busy here and permanent changes are having to be made. I will gladly hold puppies on request from previous buyers. In addition to this liter, I still have 1 male puppy from the last liter, he has out grown his timidness, and is just so sweet, and wants to please more then any other male puppy I've had yet. I'm also looking for a good home for my stud dog, Blizzard. He is such an awesome dog. Blizzard is 2 1/2 years old and was raised with small live stock until he was 12 weeks old, when we brought him home. He is great with all kinds of livestock big and small. He is also outstanding with children of all ages. He knows to sit in order to get any attention. He produces fantastic puppies with a kind nature but the natural instinct to guard. I hate to part with him, but he deserves more time then I can give him.
I'm asking $150.00 for the females and $100.00 for the males on this last liter, and $100.00 for the male puppy and Blizzard both of which have had all their vaccines except will need new rabies, and are very current on their wormers. I will consider a lesser price to previous customers on the two male dogs.
SECOND LITTER IS HERE!
Pictures from the second litter pictured below
1/2 Maremma,1/4 Great Pyrenese, 1/4 Border Collie These puppies are going to be large dogs, females between 70 and 80 lbs and males around 100 lbs. They have been raised with horses, bunnies, and kids. They are smart, ready and willing to please with a very easy going temperament. Not a bit aggressive towards humans or animals, but will naturally protect what is theirs.
I own both parents, and they are both on site. Both of these dogs are great with kids, no matter what neither of them has ever so much as growled at a child. They are good with all of the farm animals, and it is so nice to take them with us on trail rides and not have to worry about coming across another dog, horse or human on our rides. Both dogs will just pass what ever it is without a second glance, normally keeping themselves between my kids and a stranger. They do have medium to long coats, but with good brushing during the spring shedding and a grooming every few of weeks besides that, they do great. Considerably less work then my German Shepard's were. Because they are livestock guard dogs they do tend to bark at night, this is their way of warning the predators they are here and to stay away. If you don't need them to protect anything at night, bringing them inside or locking them up at night takes care of the problem. Mine only bark during the day if someone actually comes up the driveway.
All nine puppies from our first litter sold in less then three weeks. Below are some comments I’ve received from the puppy’s new owners.

What people have to say about our dogs:
Corby is great. He has selective hearing sometimes but don't they all. He is a little over 50 lbs but still thinks he is a lap dog. He is very curious around the horses but the two we have out in the field he keeps a very close watch on, and has tried a couple of times to keep them closer to the house. He doesn't seem to want them to far away, and one nite when one went thru the fence he alerted us that something was wrong. I think he has the herd instinct but isn't quite sure what to do with it, will work more with that this spring. I am very impressed with his intelligence and quick "pickup" of any thing you teach him. All family and friends are in love with him and his very even temperment. If he is any indication of your breeding results I think you have a great combination and would recommend to anyone.
Thanks, Leslie and Robb
Hi Melissa,
Long time, no update!! Madge is just about the sweetest dog on the planet. Not to mention the cuteness factor. She is my little buddy and goes everywhere with me. She is smart, agile, brave, funny, minds well and is still very mellow for being such a young pup, 4 months old last week! She loves everybody, gets along great with all dogs and most dogs like her too. She is special and we are absolutely crazy about her! We have had no problems and have no complaints. Her coat is getting thicker and has a slight wave. She is developing a golden spot on her back (looks like a coffee stain) and a little bit around her ears. She has this wonderful ability to self clean, we havent given her a bath yet, there is no need to!
My nephew is quite smitten with her and took her picture to share day at his preschool. I thought that was pretty cute.
I'd say the mix definitely works!! How are the others?
Take care,
kathryn
Comment on a 7 month old puppy from our first litter
He is wonderful. He is most definitely my puppy at this time. Richard made the comment last night that we have the guardian to take care of me when he is not around. My girlfriends & I are sure by next winter we will be able to walk in the dark if we want & Wyatt will make sure we are safe. He loves people, kids & other dogs.
True to his breed he does have a mind of his own & not a push over in training. He is very smart but if it not what he wants he may not make the right decision. We are presently taking obedience classed up in Viola. This trainer also does agility and I am thinking about maybe trying it. But that is a ways out. We need to master heal and listening with other dogs around first. The trainer says he is doing good for his age.
We just had him fixed, chipped & his back dew claws taken off. The back dew claws stuck out a lot & I was afraid he might get them hooked on something climbing around. He loves to climb on stuff & has gotten the nick name "goat puppy".
His adult coat is fairly long and is very pretty. His tail has gotten very pretty with a small curl & long wavy fur. His patches have also gotten a little darker & his mask on his face has increased in size. Everyone who see's him says he is a very pretty puppy & will be a great looking adult.
